Hand-flat woven in Montenegro by Svetlana, this kilim rug combines a deep red with a more subdued green, balanced by a geometric pattern typical of the Balkans. The stepped and diamond shapes recall traditional designs found not only in the Balkans but also in neighboring countries. In addition to being a small rug, it can also be placed on a dresser to add a warm touch. A simple, direct artisanal piece, with the frank aesthetic characteristic of Balkan weaving.
