Collection: Ukrainian workshop

Ukraine - Eastern Europe

In a human-scale workshop in Ukraine, small wooden boxes take shape through a structured artisanal process. Linden or sometimes birch wood is first turned from a solid block, creating a single-piece item. Each piece is then hand-painted one by one.
These boxes are neither industrial, nor the work of a single isolated artisan. They are the product of folk craft—simple and accessible—designed to be both decorative and functional. Their simplicity, combined with the colors and geometric patterns of Eastern Europe, gives them a truly evocative power.
