An angelic smile

This small decorative cherub, dressed in dark blue fabric interwoven with gold threads, is entirely handmade in the White Carpathians of the Czech Republic. It draws on the tradition of textile figurines found in Central Europe during Advent, often hung on fir branches or palm fronds. Its pressed paper head, woven wings, and dress lend it a gentle and benevolent presence. It can be hung on a Christmas tree, a window, or a decorative branch to create a cheerful atmosphere.
