Knitted in a dense black knit, these mittens come alive with a stylized rust-colored crocheted flower, crocheted directly into the knit. The top edge features the same hue in the form of a thick folded knit hem. The bottom of the ribbed cuff is also adorned with the same hem but in a blue shade, as is the top edge of the thumb. The rust and deep blue shades thus perfectly echo each other, announcing the approaching sunset.
