This mini woolen kilim rug, hand flat-woven by Svetlana, features a bright, deep red characteristic of Balkan textiles. It has a small central white motif, which is also found in textiles from the region and beyond.
Its small size allows it to be placed under a cup, on a shelf, a bedside table, or a pedestal table. These podmetači, found in Slavic interiors, thus serve multiple roles: everyday objects, small decorative supports, or textile pieces in their own right.
