This handcrafted ceramic bowl from Corund is made from locally sourced clay. The exterior is painted with a floral motif typical of the Székely style, a tradition of the Hungarian minority in this region of Transylvania. It features stylized flowers and vegetal arabesques in red, outlined in brown. Its size makes it suitable for soup, breakfast, or dessert.
The upper rim is left unglazed in accordance with traditional firing practices.
