The Hungarian heritage of Matyó embroidery: a timeless blouse
This loose-fitting white blouse with a split collar perfectly balances modern simplicity with Hungarian heritage. The Palóc embroidery, arranged in two vertical lines, displays vibrant floral motifs in shades of red and blue. This design lends the garment a structured and elegant look, enhanced by the contrast with the light-colored fabric. The Palóc people, an ethnic group from northern Hungary, have preserved an embroidery tradition where nature is translated into stylized motifs. Wearing this blouse is to echo this folk heritage, which connects textile culture to identity and collective memory.

How is this part manufactured?
This piece is made in the Lilifolk workshop in Hungary, where production is done in small series.
The designs are first drawn by Lilian, then embroidered with the assistance of an embroiderer on fabrics sourced from local Hungarian suppliers.
After the embroidery, each piece is sewn and finished in the workshop.
Due to the manual manufacturing process, very slight variations may occur from piece to piece.
